The inaugural conference has been organised by junior doctors, for junior doctors and aims to be the highlight of your academic and social calendar. Join us for two days of inspiring plenary talks, panel discussions and Q&A sessions. Theme: ‘The Good Doctor’
Every conference needs a theme to centre proceedings and we think we’ve hit on one that encompasses what it’s like to be a junior doctor. With increasing competition for training spots and consultant jobs, clinical excellence is no longer sufficient to succeed as a junior doctor. We have greater expectations placed on us, greater ambitions for ourselves and more of a community focus. We are embracing new technologies, seeking new knowledge, and creating our own future through innovation. With recent changes to the Declaration of Geneva, we are also placing more focus on self-care.
With this many priorities, what does it mean to be a ‘Good Doctor in 2018’?
